I’ve been dabbling in photography, on-and-off, for several decades, and finally started to get more serious and consistent back in 2018..
I started my photographic journey with a 35mm film camera in the early 1970s, wandered into black-and-white developing and printing, and making my own color prints from slides in my makeshift apartment darkroom. I somewhat reluctantly made the transition from film to digital…and quickly learned to love digital.
Perhaps as a result of my engineering background, I’ve always enjoyed being able to notice lines, shapes, patterns, and details in everyday things…and this has led me to gravitate into the genres of abstract and macro photography in recent years, though I also enjoy photographing wildlife and landscapes.
